SIMAX companies are focused on this
growing market and have developed the
required infrastructure and competences to
give quality support. Rite Track, as one of
the founding SIMAX members, has exemplified
this focus on quality by consistently being
ranked in the top of service operations in
the semiconductor industry. This has led to
recognition of an overall 5-Star award for
2007 in all categories measured by VLSI
Research’s highly regarded annual service
quality appraisal. Only 14 companies in the
semiconductor industry received this
recognition.
The SIMAX companies provide a full
portfolio of services:
- Field Support
- Parts and consumables (with a
worldwide logistics infrastructure)
- Engineering services (for
obsolescence, replacement or equipment
upgrades)
- Re-manufacturing (ISO 9001 and 14000
qualified)
- Trading and financing services
The companies organized under the SIMAX
umbrella are recognized as leaders in their
sector. They commit to quality standards
recognized as defined by the SEC/N (www.secn.org).
The cooperation allows participating
companies to cross utilize competences and infrastructure
to improve their service offering to device
manufacturers and related users (e.g. R&D
institutes, new MEMS customers, new entrants
in the industry).
Relations with Original Equipment
Manufacturers (OEM’s)
Companies operating under the SIMAX
umbrella commit to adhering to definitions
and quality standards as defined by the
recognized trade organization for pre-owned
equipment (www.secn.org).
The objective is to be a service partner to
equipment companies. Intellectual property
rights are specifically recognized and
adhered to.
The Management Team and Board of Advisors
consist of executives from the Semiconductor
Industry.
